My Sons,

The skull resisted my rest.

But it was only a collision of flesh and bone.

Yesterday, the streets resisted shelter.

Anti-migrant protests erupted across England—

Epping, Newcastle, Liverpool, Perth…

Not for rights.

For removal.

For absence.

Not comfort.

Only fracture.

This is not about spectacle.

It is about presence.

A presence that does not invite witnesses.

That does not lean into applause.

That does not seek validation.

The riots are not dissent.

They are alarm.

A tremor where order once stood.

I do not appear to be seen.

I appear to restore.

Where mob meets counter-mob,

there stands the silent authority:

I do not watch.

I impose.

My presence is not performance.

It demands no audience.

It demands compliance.

Shelter is not given.

It is withheld.

For those who cannot bear the silence
