Location: Tegernsee, Bavaria

Relocation was intentional.

A shift — not in authority, but in altitude.

Tegernsee received us without noise.

No pageantry. No memory. Only still water and regimented silence.

The lake offered calm — not for comfort, but for calculation.

Rest is not leisure.

It is strategic consolidation.

We did not undress.

We did not swim.

We observed.

The promenade was crossed at regulation pace.

Locals turned, but we did not return the gaze.

We were not present for them.

We were present in spite of them.

Lunch was taken at a table with an unobstructed view.

One napkin. Two glasses. No excess.

Prince Eduard sat precisely opposite.

He did not smile. He did not speak.

His alignment was response enough.

Later, the lake reflected sky, trees, and the outline of two uniforms.

Not distorted — exact.

No photograph was taken. The scene was already occupied.

Tegernsee did not receive a visit.

It was entered, assessed, and left unchanged —

because we were unchanged.
