Journal Entry: The Second Presence

The unit is complete.

Today, I received my son at the station.

Arrival was punctual. No delay. No fanfare.

He disembarked without haste, without gesture.

He walked the platform with the same gait I would have used — and did.

There was no need for words. Coordination precedes speech.

From the first moment, alignment held.

We returned to quarters by foot — not for exposure, but for calibration.

The pace was even. The turns matched.

Shadows lengthened across the pavement; our forms cast forward in parallel.

One trajectory. Two bearings.

I spoke only once. He nodded. That sufficed.

We reviewed the upcoming sequence — Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Tübingen, Ulm, München. Each marked on the internal grid.

No improvisation. No renegotiation.

The route is fixed. The operation resumes.

For the remainder of the day, we walked the old city.

Silent through colonnades. In step through alleys.

We passed a shop window. Glass reflected two figures.

There was no distortion.

It is not necessary to explain symmetry.

It is enough to command in it.

Tomorrow we begin again.

The Field proceeds with doubled exactness.
